Sheila's StoryWe are so proud of Sheila and asked her to share her story at our Dare to Dream Event. She has 4 years of Sobriety and Success and today she is truly a blessing to so many lives. We are blessed to have her on our team to promote recovery among women at the Oasis. My name is Sheila and I am here to give a small testimony of my life, or at least what I can remember of it. You see, I am 66 years old but can barely remember just bits and pieces of my life, due to the abuse of drugs and alcohol. I started drinking at the age of 15 when my parents divorced. It was easy because when I drank, the pain would go away. When I was 30 years old, I moved to Guam as an exotic dancer. I soon saved up enough money to open a massage parlor, called “Kelly Girls”. And soon enough, I had 8-10 girls working for me and at the time it was really good money. I eventually started selling drugs such as “Ice” and of course, easy money does not last long without the law noticing the extra traffic at your home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I was arrested and found guilty of possession with intent to sell and I ended up spending 30 days in Guam’s really nice prison, which the guards used to call the Hilton, of course they meant that with the least bit of humor. When I was released from prison and went home, I returned to nothing, everything I had was gone! I lost my business, car and money, though now I did have a felony on my record. And once again, I turned back to my best friend alcohol, she always helped me to forget all the pain in my life. I think when Pastor Allison found me, I was at the lowest point in my life. I can only remember one other lady, Athena who was able to find a way to hospitalize me to be detoxed. This time, after 2 grand-mall seizures and 8 days of detoxing, I was released to Oasis Recovery Center. Oasis Recovery Center is where my new life began—alcohol and drug free . You see, God is kind of funny. In fact, God has quite a sense of humor. You see, God was not done with me yet, after going through recovery at Oasis, God used my past to prep me for my new life. Now instead of having girls working for me in a life of bondage, I am helping to teach ladies how to live life in freedom from alcohol, drugs and all the other bondages that come with that life. My new life allows me to give back a small part of what has been given to me by the Grace of God. I am so truly Blessed that God has Blessed me with Pastor Rob and Pastor Allison and Oasis in my life. I also thank all of the staff that was involved with my recovery, I can say no more than Thank you for giving me your love and trust and most of all giving me back my life!! Today, my dream is to be able to “Pay it Forward” and pass on the Blessing of all that was given me by God through Oasis.

What is Living Waters Ministry? We start off with a little food and fellowship and then we have a time of worship and praise to open our hearts to the Lord. Each week a new topic rich with personal testimony is shared that demonstrates the mercies of God. Sometimes we take time for prayer in our large group setting and invite people to come to meet the Lord.We break into small groups to take time in listening prayer as we encounter Jesus and his ever-present healing love. He visits us in such personal ways as we take time to encounter Him.

Join us each Wednesday night at 6:00 PM for amazing encounters with the Lord Himself. He comes to heal the brokenhearted and bind up our wounds. Relational and sexual brokenness has damaged so many lives and we are finding Living Waters that bring real and lasting refreshing and inner healing. No new group members will be allowed to join after September 20th, so don't miss out. Join Us!

The first step into recovery is probably the most difficutl for anyone to take. There are so many questions about what will change and what is going to be required. But every journey begins with the first step. And at Oasis, you will be welcomed and supported to help you look at realistic calls. Step 1 ScreeningWhen you call or drop in the Oasis you can ask for a screening to see if you are eligible for our supportive services. If we can help you, we will schedule you for an intake interview. If we can't help, we will refer you to a more appropirate program that may be better equipped to help you. Step 2 Intake InterviewWe want to sit with you to get to know what you are really hoping to see change in your life. We try to get to know you and a little bit of your story to see how we may be best able to support you in your recovery journey. We talk about your support systems and your relapse potential. We try to find out some of your health history and what special concerns you may have that need to be addressed. Our desire is to start to build a recovery plan that will support your recovery.Step 3 OrientationYou may be recommended for either an outpatient program or a residential program at Oasis. This is a therapeutic community which simply means that all the clients work together to support each other in their recovery goals. We also share about your individual client rights as well as some of the requirements of the program. A main requirement is to respect each other's confidentiality and right to recovery. Step 4 TreatmentThe Oasis provides case management supportive services, indivual and group counseling as well as education groups. There are also support groups that you will attend that will help you find encouragement from others in the community who are getting stronger in their recovery. Step 5 Inner HealingA vital part of recovery is building trust and opening up to others. We take time together to see some of the hurts, hangups and habits healed from the inside out. So that is not something that can just be learned in ones head. This requires that we get to know your heart. .

Becoming a Member at Zion Fellowship establishes each one into God's purpose as part of this family of believers. Understanding our core values, our vision helps us to really engage together to enter into our corporate purpose and destiny. . Becoming a Member of Zion is not difficult. There are a 4 group sessions where the vision and values of Zion are shared. Each person then gets an opportunity to meet with one of the pastoral team leaders for a brief question and answer session and an opportunity to discuss their spiritual gifts inventory that was completed during the second group session. Later, a meeting with the senior pastors is scheduled where the Rob and Allison Zimmerman are able to help you consider some of your spiritual interests and goals that you could reach by becoming a part of Zion Fellowship. Following is an outline of these Sessions:1.WHY BECOME A MEMBER OF ZION?2.THE VISION and FOUNDATION OF ZION FELLOWSHIP3.BUILDING OUR SPIRITUAL ASSETS4.DISCIPLESHIP, CHARACTER AND GROWING IN THE ANOINTINGIf you commit to be part of Zion Fellowship, Allison and I will commit to love you as one of our own. We remain the Spiritual Mother and Father of these ministries, no matter what geographical location any of us may move to, because families stay related no matter where they are. As the ministry grows and develops, new people will come in and help us. We hope they will be joining our extended family rather than simply joining the team or coming on as employees. Unless individuals are grafted into the family relationally, they may be friends, partners and somehow associated but may never become fully connected. Such feelings of disconnection are the breeding ground for church splits, strife and frustration. Let us preserve and strengthen the level of influence by building a strong and healthy covenant foundation here at Zion.

I moved here from Upstate NY to be a part of this ministry. I still work full time with the US Post Office to be able to live here on Guam and serve in this ministry. Nothing compares though to the joy we share when see God at work in the lives of people. At Zion I lead the young adults Sunday group that meets during the Sunday service in our own classroom. We also have a multi-church youth ministry called SAFEHOUSE that many of our young people are involved with. Zion Fellowship is really quite a unique ministry that it is kindof hard to describe. So I just recommend that you come and visit us and experience it for yourself.

The last time we counted the homeless on Guam, we found over 1700 people. In addition, many are homeless due to addiction or other types of personal crisis. The economy in Guam has its own unique challenges adding to the pressure of finding stable and secure living situations. If you are homeless, contact us at oasis@guam.net or come to our office and we will see what options we may be able to help you access. The Oasis is working to help women overcome the problems related to homelessness. We are also a part of the Guam Homeless Coaltion and with our community partners, we are working to strengthen Guam's Continuum of Care.

Being led by Him is so much more life-changing that simply rattling off our wish-list to Him. We are privileged to enjoy a love relationship with the Lord and entering into His presence allows us to really receive from the abundance of His loveTreasure HuntingWhen the Holy Spirit leads us, often times He gives insights that are keys to specific situations and especially individuals that He wants us to share His life with. As we go find these treasures, we use those keys that unlock hearts and set people free. We love the adventures that God leads us on. Spiritual Authority & Apostolic PrayerAll the growth and development of the ministry has been birthed in prayer. Our ministry style is more akin to a family than a business organizational structure. The familial approach is something unique that has become a vital part of our ministry thrust. While we look at the restoration of the apostolic vision of ministry, we see the apostolic function is much more a familial operation than a ecclesiastical hierarchy. Therefore as we grow Elim Pacific Ministries, that is a foundational principle of our ministry. Community Prayer.

UGANDASally McCarley is heading to Uganda, Africa to train pastors and intercessors. God opened a tremendous opportunity to bless orphanages and host a leaders conferrence that will impart truth and keys of the Kingdom. We are privildged to be home church for Sally and Mike and help support her as she ministers in the nations. Sally carries a precious call of God and is a bold prayer warrior. She leads several intercessory prayer groups and empowers people to move in God's gifts. Follow Sally on her Blog ISRAEL In this hour, we must be part of the company of watchmen intercessors who are praying for the peace of Jerusalem. Pray specifically as the UN General Assembly vote on the Palestinian request for recognition as a Nation State. There is much concern that Palestinian violence will erupt wtih vengence. If you want to help donate for this important outreach, please follow this DONATE NOW LINK. Follow Ashley on her Blog..."Israel, a Light to the Nations"Shalom, Recently I got accepted into an incredible avenue for sharing the arts, intermingling it with the good news of God's love. I got accepted to be a Company Dancer for Jerusalem’s Feast of the Tabernacles with ICEJ (International Christian Embassy Jerusalem), it will be a dream come true to minister in a city so rich in history and culture. With these current times of tension, globally as well as economically, this is a time for the church to rise up and offer peace to the nations. Not merely a peace without weight or understanding of the times and the seasons, but rather an offering of our hands as a form of reconciliation that humanity may be invited into communion by returning to the true Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ. This is what I hope to do, as I get involved in this creative dance project. As I’ve been praying into this commitment with ICEJ, I keep seeing visions of the nations and my heart continues to grow with a greater hunger to see God use the arts as a creative means for communicating the gospel message to all people groups. For many years I have been longing to see excellence in dance used in a way that captures a glimpse of God's creative heart and shares it with a world of chaos and confusion. To prepare for this event I will be attending a dance summer intensive in San Francisco at LINES Ballet. To do something like this, takes commitment and dedication, but even more than that it takes a community of believers willing to be apart of making this dream a vibrant reality. I cannot do something like this without your involvement, be with me in prayer as I take this leap of faith and trust God to take His light to the ends of the earth. I will be living in hostels in Jerusalem from September 29 through October 20, 2011 with other company members and volunteers while ministering daily. This opportunity is a non-paid event and all volunteers have to raise their own support.Your support is crucial in making this dream a reality! All ministry donations can be processed online, if you would like partner with me then please prayerfully make a donation to fund this mission. Even if you are unable to afford supporting this cause financially, your prayerful participation and involvement is desperately coveted! We are living in dark times and must link together to see heaven come to earth in radical ways.

On August 27 our sister church in Hiroshima celebrated its 1st anniversary. Last year we were honored to set Sergio and Rosa Watanabe as the senior pastors of Maranatha Fellowship. In 1945, Guam was instrumental in launching the mission that resutled in dropping the atomic bomb that destoyed Hiroshima. Since 2001 we have been involved in ministry in Hiroshima. This precious congregation is growing and reaching Hiroshima Prefecture including Kure City. Carlos and Patricia Nishida worked with us in Guam for 2 years in our internship program and were keenly instrumental in growing our Guam Youth Ministry called SAFEHOUSE. In June, Carlos and Patricia becare the proud parents of a new baby girl. Pray for the work of God in Hiroshima that it will continue to grow in strength and favor in that community and effectively release the blessings of God in that land.

Amanda's Testimony Hello, my name is Amanda and by the grace and mercy of our Heavenly Father I am able to share my testimony. I started using drugs and alcohol at the tender age of 11, and continued down this path of destruction into my 30s. I was at my end. I thought for sure I was going to die a drug addict. And then one day my girlfriend told me about a place that just might be able to help me get sober and find God because my whole life was centered around drugs.Zion Fellowship was the door to getting the every much help I needed I had no hope, trust, faith, and truly did not know the real meaning of love. Today I am a born again Christian and have been clean and sober and happy for 20 months. My pastors have stood beside me through my addiction to drugs, alcohol, and co-dependency. My pastors saved my life through Jesus Christ. Every bad habit, Jesus Christ has removed from my body and has given me a new one. Every day is a blessing and I have true faith, hope, and finally after 30 years learn to trust God and the plans and purpose H has for my life. I see things in a positive manner and God has a great plan for everyone if you only surrender to Him and accept Him as your creator. Today I work to help other women find God and live life clean and sober. Through God, Zion Fellowship, and the Oasis Empowerment Center I can share my break-throughs and blessings I receive on a daily basis. My daughter and I have a great relationship now, in fact my girl believe in me now and also has faith in God. We just moved into our own place. I work full-time at the Oasis Empowerment Center as a case worker and continue a new way of life. Thank you Jesus and Zion Fellowship where true miracles do happen! “Let us think of ways to motivate on another to acts of love and good works” Hebrews 10:24.The Power of Prayer Walking. When Allison and Rob moved to Guam in 1995 we really did not know where God would lead or how God would provide. But we did know we could pray and ask God for the promise of His Word in Joshua 1:3 Every Place that the Sole of Your Foot treads, I will give it to you" So as we prayed we claimed the ground for the glory of God. The fact is, we prayed right in front of this building on the beach. We would walk here enjoying the beautiful view as we prayed and stepped in faith. And now, this is the second building in this area that we have had the privilege of setting up as a ministry center. Join us at Zion. Experience the Love of God for yourself!

Gavin Mcmanus is the son of Pastor Steve and Nina McManus who lead Christian Life Center in Agat. Their son, Gavin, has a powerful testimony of how God saved him miraculously when he and fhis friends got swept over the reaf one day. We are committed to helping send islanders to serve God in world missions. Its appropriate that we launch islanders to impact other island nations. Youth with a Mission is a powerful tool to help release people into ministries. Pray for Josiah Zimmerman who is now working full time on the staff of the JUSTICE WATERS PROJECT. The mission is to bring access for the most basic of human needs, CLEAN DRINKING WATER. Josiah completed one year at Elim Bible Institute but ever since the earthquake hit Haiti, Jojo has felt a call to do what he could to serve the cause of Chirst in that Island Nation. Back in 1983, Allison and I were part of outreach teams that served also in these Carribean Islands. Allison helped build a small clinic on the small Haitian island of LaGonave and Rob led a TWO team to Linstead in Jamaica. The Ready-2-Work program is bringing humanity, opportunity, and rehabilitation to individuals with disabilities. . Since 2005, we have been helping people reach their goals and become productive. Our team helps in several ways:1.We position the individual in an actual work environment to determine the suitability of potential placement;2.We provide work readiness training. The individual will be able to determine if they are ready to taoe on employment responsibilities. 3.We help individuals discover their marketable assets. This empowers individuals tp prove to prospective employers their value and ability to contribute to the success of the organization.4.We provide options. If things do not work out, in one situation, an alternative site can be secured and its suitability similarly appraised.5.We provide on-the-job training experiences. Because of the lack of employment experiences or work history, individuals with disabilities will be able to create a resume that highlights their skills and abilities to potential employers. Clients demonstrate their capacity and aptitude to employers in the actual work setting.6.We enhance people’s competencies. Clients who develop work skills at Oasis Ready-2-Work can then compete for a job on the basis of skill or merit rather than simply an employer’s compassion.

In order to support the growth in Southeast Asia, Amy will move to the region to be a more active resource. She attended Living Waters in 1996 to find healing for her own sexual brokenness. In 1998, God filled her with a passion to “bind up the brokenhearted.” She has been involved in leadership at the local, regional and national levels with Living Waters USA (Desert Stream Ministries) for the past twelve years.

The Second Chance ShopIn 2005, women from the Oasis opened a resale shop near Micronesia Mall. Affordable clothing and specialty items are available at great prices and our Sue, our store manager always appreciates your donations. This is another great way we have found to be a blessing in the community. Oasis Ready-2-WorkThis is our job training program where people don’t just get jobs, they become assets who make a difference. Even the disabled are finding wonderful income opportunities at Oasis.

The Oasis was established in 2004 to be place of healing and restoration for women. Everyday at our Ministry Center, counseling groups and supportive services are provided to individuals overcoming life-controlling problems. Guam has an usually high number of people struggling with addiction. Many are simply coping with the emotional and physical bruises of abuse. Addiction comes in many different forms, from addiction to sex, tobacco, crystal meth, alcohol. It has led to homelessness, victimization and suicide and self-destruction. Our goal is to help each woman who comes to Oasis find freedom, restoration and wholeness. Much of our work is in the the form of inner healing because we are convinced that Jesus came to make all things new. Recovery is possible and it is happening at Oasis.

Spiritual FoundationsThere are several important teachings from the Bible that are essentially at the heart upon which everything grows in our lives and ministries. The Bible is God’s love letter to us and fills our lives with the revelation of the full scope of our Covenant with God. Therefore, these principles for us are non-negotiable. We have outlined these important foundations of faith that have become the basis for the people of Zion to walk in unity. Doctrinal Statement of Faith1.We believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17) It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. 2.We believe in the unity of the one true and living God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (2 Corinthians 13:14) These three are coequal and coeternal.3.We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His death and atonement through His shed Blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His present priestly ministry. (2 Timothy 3:16; Romans 3: 25-26)4.We believe in evangelistic and missionary fervor and endeavor. (Acts 1:8; Mark 16:15-18)5.We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential and obtained only by God’s grace through faith. We further believe in the keeping power of God. (Hebrews 9:22; Jude 24-25)6.We believe that sanctification, holiness and the overcoming life is God's design for the Church, which is the Bride of Christ. (Ephesians 5:25-27) 7.We believe that sexual purity is a necessary expression for all of God’s children and requires abstinence from adultery, fornication, incest, homosexuality, or other sexual relationships or practices forbidden in scripture. (Hebrews 13:4; 1 Corinthians 6:18; Leviticus 18:1-30)8.We believe that marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime and a sacred institution established by God. (Matthew 19:4-6)9.We believe that since mankind is created in the God’s image, human life is of inestimable worth and significance in all its dimensions, from conception to the grave. (Gen. 1:27; Psalm 139:13-14)10.We believe that Baptism is for believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and is to be administered by immersion, thus bearing witness to the gospel of Christ's death, burial and resurrection for us, and our own new life in Him. (Matthew. 28:19; Romans 6:4) 11.We believe that Communion, when shared by believers, witnesses to the saving power of the gospel, to Christ's presence in His church, and looks forward to His victorious return. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)12.We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as on the day of Pentecost and in the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit as evidenced in charismatic gifts and ministries, and in the fruit of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer, to empower the church to preach the Gospel throughout the earth. (Acts 2:4; Acts 10:46; Acts 19:6; Ephesians 4:11; 1 Corinthians 12:8-11; Galatians 5:22-23)13.We believe that divine healing is obtained on the basis of the Atonement. It is the Father’s will for believers to become whole, healthy and successful in all areas of life. Because of the fall, many may not receive the full benefits of God’s will while here on earth. That fact, though, should never prevent all believers from seeking the full benefits of Christ’s provision in order to better serve others. Spiritual (John 3:3-11; 2 Cor. 5:17-21; Rom. 10:9-10); Mental and Emotional (2 Tim. 1:7; 2:11; Phil 4:7-8; Rom 12:1-2; Isa 26:3); Physical (Isa. 53:4-5; Matt 8:17; 1 Pet 2:24); Financial (Josh 1:8; Mal. 3:10-11 Luke 6:38)14.We believe in Christ's imminent personal return in power and great glory, and in His present and everlasting dominion. (Acts 1:8; Revelation 1:7; Daniel 7:14)15.We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal punishment. (John 5: 28-29; Rev. 20:15)And above All, LoveWhile these doctrines are considered essential foundations for agreement at Zion, they are not to promote any sort of elitist attitude. Other churches have their own doctrinal statement, and we respect the diversity in the Body of Christ. In fact, we desire to have as many brothers and sisters in Christ as Father God has sons and daughters! We are called to love the world and share the life that we find in Christ Jesus our one and only Lord and Savior. We are not anti-Catholic or antagonistic to people who do not share or adopt these doctrines. God has called us to love with the same type of intense love as he constantly demonstrates to us. His Agape Love is what makes miracles happen.

Our ValuesThe Spiritual DNA of Zion Fellowship incorporates three vital aspects: Doctrine, Core Values and Vision. As God is building a vibrant family in His image, these family values are another important aspect to consider as you decide about becoming a member of Zion Fellowship. We are all on a spiritual journey. Our aim is that Zion would be a place where you can grow in your relationship with God. Secondly that your life would reflect God’s image developing in you more deeply. As this progresses, we want each person to enter into their destiny and calling more fully. This process begins by receiving love and life in Christ. Then it matures as our lives begin to radiate Christ’s anointing those around us. We want Zion to be an ever increasing positive influence in our community. Let’s look at these values in more detail.1. Zion is a Church Motivated by Love! For us, the Bible is more than a collection of important teachings. It is God’s loving Word to us, His love letters direct from His heart. As His word becomes ours, our dialogue and love song expands into all our expressions. Having been kissed by God, we experience His mercy and it changes us. Love makes miracles happen. The love of Christ frees us from everything that could entrap a person. Praise and worship are a primary opportunity to encounter God more fully. As we encounter God we are empowered to live differently. The unique love dynamic that we are cultivating at Zion is a vital part of our spiritual DNA (1John 4:7-8). We grow in the context of a spiritual family with strong covenant ties of relationship. Zion is NOT a church marked by conformity but rather diversity. As God creates each person unique, God’s life expressions redeem our personality. We see the life of Christ places great dignity and value on each soul. We are not perfect but we shall walk in love with those around us while each encounters Jesus in this journey together. Help us cultivate this agape atmosphere even further and learn to speak Christ’s truth in mercy and grace.2. Zion is a church with a Message of Restoration! No matter what level of brokenness and wounding we may have experienced, God is the Lord of Restoration. He makes all things New. Zion is working to maintain an atmosphere where the restoration process can occur completely and progressively. We are dependant on the active work of the Holy Spirit to accomplish everything that He desires and give room for Him to do His work. We cherish the ministries of the Holy Spirit that operate through His people. Members are being trained to listen to God’s voice and are encouraged to share what God reveals in prayer and prophetic words that may be shared. We value prayers of agreement and even stand together to war for the individuals to be delivered into a place of greater freedom and release from all oppression. We are to overcome evil wherever we encounter it. Of course, the source of all evil is sin and the Lord shows us clearly His restoration process. This means living out the love of Christ, being continually filled with the Holy Spirit, as well as manifesting the gifts and fruit of the Spirit, and praying with passion and authority. Jesus did not explain away the pain of others-He healed them and set them free if they wanted to change.3. Zion is a church on a Mission of Mercy! We have been challenged by God to invade every people group as Holy ambassadors and make disciples. Our immediate focus is that people of the islands would praise God as they find life in Christ. We are here to serve and share life freely. In very practical ways we are working to connect with people in our community to impart life. We believe that the church can and needs to be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure.4. Zion is a Church with a Mandate of Releasing Heaven on Earth. As Christians, the Anointing of Jesus works in every believer not only to live for Jesus but to extend His Kingdom in our earth. We are here to make a difference in practical ways. We believe accomplishing God’s purposes calls for scripture-based risk-taking, flexibility, and perseverance. We believe that Christ’s transformation of a believer will lead to a generous heart that shares what God has given. We invest in eternity by giving our finances, our prayers, as well as our abilities. God is raising up Sons and Daughters in His image and he chooses to form their character through a process called discipleship. This is a training process that God establishes within a spiritual church family. The Apostle Paul illustrates this dynamic relationship in many of his letters he wrote to his spiritual sons and daughters. (See 1 Corinthians 4: 14-17)

Zion Fellowship is a foundational part of several ministries that make up Elim Pacific Ministries. At the center of every ministry outreach of Elim Pacific is the Church. Zion Fellowship is the first fruit of this ministry. . Rob and Allison Zimmerman are privileged to be the Spiritual Parents of this ministry. Even as the ministry grows and expands, we want to maintain the unique family nature of the ministry. In order to raise up Spiritual Sons and Daughters, our ministry is fundamentally relational and follows our parenting style. We love, train and confront issues to promote character. We continually lay down our lives for God’s restoration power and Character qualities to be formed in each disciple. Spiritual sonship is the fruit of this intense nurture and discipleship. It is more relational and impartational rather than educational.

Precious things are happening as people encounter the Lord in personal ways. Islanders have been given an important key of deliverance of nations and freedom of captives. God showed us from Isaiah 42:12 that as the islands of the sea sing forth his praise, release and divine revelation comes to those in bondage. In the economy of God, He chooses the weak things to confound the wisdom of the wise. This vision in not limited to the island of Guam. God is building a network of ministries within the islands that are founded on covenant trust, extreme mercy and restoration. Our mission statement that God has given us for this work is simply, Love’em and Launch’em! This has taken on very practical dimensions in everything that we are doing at Zion and the ministries of Elim Pacific. We envision that Pacific Islanders will become everything that God has created them to be as they are raised as Spiritual Sons and Daughters. At the very foundation of this is God’s heart for the family. Even with the numerous broken homes and common-law relationships prolific throughout the world, we believe that God’s heart of restoration is founded in his heart to put the Solitary into Families. (Psalm 68) Therefore a family dynamic flows through each and every aspect of our ministry activity. This is an essential foundation stone that we have been building on as we have been establishing Zion Fellowship. We pray everyone will find that Zion is truly a family that is loving and nurturing. . God is our Father our lover. He provides all that we need and restores us completely to wholeness. He desires to prepare us uniquely as the Bride of Christ.
